So in June, I took my girls to Rebounderz.  I promised Ethan that I would take him over the summer.  

Who knew the summer would go so fast!!!

Since today is our last Monday in Summer, we met some friends and bounced until we were too tired to bounce anymore.  Who would have guessed we would get tired out so fast.  We lasted 30 minutes, some of us (adults) a *tad* bit less than that.

Magdalena and I ran the Leesburg 5K today.

We haven't run together since her Girls on the Run 5K last May, so our goal was under 45 minutes.

We made it, just barely.  Our excuse of cutting it so close was a Lady fell walking on the W. O. & D. trail and we walked her to the next policeman so she could get medical help.

Flag Football

Our adventure in Flag Football began today. 

We went and got the cleats and mouth guard this morning...

you have no idea how excited he was about getting a red mouth guard!

It brought back memories of when my brother played...I was boiling the mouth guard about 45 minutes before the first practice.  Some things are generational!

We got to the field and there was a lightning strike, so we sat in the car for about 15 minutes, then had the parent meeting.  The kids were able to try on the flags and hang out for a little.

Here is hoping there is no rain on Friday, so they can get on the field for their next practice.
