Well, the tree has been up less than 24 hours and the first ornament casualty has occurred.

Surprisingly enough, it was the cat and not Seth.

Both boys are very sad that we lost the pickle ornament.

The first quarter is almost over.  I am so proud of how well Maggie 

is doing adjusting to middle school.  

She has taken up the flute this year.  Since it has been too long since I have played/actively learned the guitar, I decided to practice when she does.  I have really enjoyed the time we play together.

I have learned some more guitar and even though I think I frustrate her sometimes, 

it is nice to spend the 2 hours a week practicing together.
